The Peabody Conservatory of Music will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in February 2007. In commemoration of this event, alumni around the nation and the world have been asked to perform concerts. RU Faculty and Students who are Peabody alumni and who will be performing on this concert are: Robert Trent, guitar, Lucy Mauro, piano, Thomas Bithell, trumpet, Bruce Mahin, composition, and Jessica Finch, flute. They will also be joined by guests Shuko Watanabe, piano, and Byron Petty, flute. The concert will also be performed at Washington and Lee University on Sunday, November 11. The RU Concert will be in the Norwood Room – Bondurant Center for the Arts at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.
