We are excited to offer exceptional high school wind players an opportunity to significantly expand and develop their musicianship through participation in the 5th Annual Tri-State Honors Chamber Wind Festival at Radford University. |
This unique opportunity is limited
to forty of the finest high school musicians in the SWVA-NETN-NWNC
region and will feature master classes, quintet coaching,
performances by outstanding professional brass and woodwind
ensembles, and a featured performance by Participating Students alongside RU Principal Wind Players.
Please note the itinerary for a more detailed description of the
opportunities students will experience. Students will be
selected based on recommendation and the instrumentation needs of
Woodwind Quintets (fl-ob-cl-bssn-hn) Brass Quintets
(2trp-hn-trb-tuba)and a Saxophone Quintet. Schools may also submit intact ensembles for inclusion in the festival! |

| The Chamber Wind
Participant package includes… Hotel lodging near the Radford University campus (resident package). Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner for three nights / two days (resident package). or Lunch-Dinner for three nights / two days (commuter package). Students will be continually chaperoned during their entire stay.
