RU JAZZ is under the direction of Christopher White and includes music majors and non-majors who are selected through audition. RU JAZZ  explores the many genres of jazz music: swing, bop, post-bop, funk, latin, fusion, ballad, free jazz. Ensemble members are given the opportunity to work with the finest  musicians on campus and special guest artists and clinicians. RU JAZZ maintains a performance schedule which features two on-campus performances in the Bondurant Auditorium (Preston Hall) and many off campus and festival performances.
