Each Spring Semester Radford
University offers students and faculty a group trip to
Lincoln
Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.
The trip includes attendance at
performances, backstage tours, a meet-the-artist opportunity, with
time for museums, galleries, Broadway plays and experiencing
Manhattan.
The Department of Music presents its Seventeenth annual group trip to Lincoln Center in New York City March 25-28, 2010 to attend
Metropolitan Opera productions of Aida (Giuseppe Verdi) on Friday, March 26th and Attila (Giuseppe Verdi) on Saturday March 27th at the Metropolitan Opera House.
The total cost of $695/$595 (RUID)/$545 (Full-time Students) includes two pre-trip and one post-trip Seminar/discussions, round/trip bus transportation from Radford University, three nights at
The Lucerne
(single occupancy add $350), and performance tickets (all trip costs/prices are subject to change).
Students have the option of registration
in MUSC366.01 or MUSC666.01 TRAVEL STUDY: MET OPERA NYC
for one (1) credit. Students
participating in all scheduled events,
including all three seminar/discussions,
will receive a $50.00 refund.
Reservations are being accepted. The deadline for confirmed reservations with a $100 deposit is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009. The balance of $595/$495/$445 is due by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 26, 2009.
